Client Reviews
“I discovered the entire process (this is key) of photography.
From thinking about:
- what I want to photograph,
- how I’m going to photograph it
…. to finally getting that photo from my camera to my wall.”
— Marie“If you want to discover a different side of Istanbul, improve your photography & spend time with someone who is genuinely passionate about both, I couldn't recommend Noemie's workshop more.”
— Claire
“Noémie has an amazing ability to meet her students where they’re at, whichever camera you’re using, however rusty your technical knowledge is, however clear (or unclear) your vision is.”
— Isabelle
“For 3 full sessions, we were out in the street, learning as we go, with the added bonus of discovering hidden corners of Istanbul.”
“This is an all-round & adaptable experience & it was for me hugely rewarding and fun.”
— Claire
— Marie“I also really enjoyed learning the basics of Lightroom.
It was something I had always wanted to try but never got around to, and Noemie made it feel approachable and fun.”
— Isabelle“The final photo printing session was the perfect ending.
Holding a printed version of my own work made the experience incredibly rewarding.”
YOUR Istanbul will come to life
session after session.
Session 1
Define your
photographic project
What do you want to
remember of Istanbul?
The mosques, the tea glasses,
the Bosphorus?
The colors, the contrasts,
the textures?
Thanks to simple exercices, you’ll think of what can bring you back to how it felt to be there.
Find photos you love &
ask yourself why you do.
What makes you love them?
This will be done all together,
in a quiet café.
Sessions 2, 3 & 4
Shooting in amazing locations in Istanbul
Here we go!
To the places you love,
where life is happening,
where that little thing will be.
I’ll bring you to places you probably don’t know
With your camera or phone,
my advice & feedbacks,
you will manage to create the images you want.
PS: don’t forget that photography is about trials & errors.
Where? In the magic Istanbul
Session 5
Edition:
Selecting your best work
You took maaaaany photos?
That’s very normal & NOW is the time to dive into your work.
And then what?
The Edition!
Aka “Selecting your photos within the spectrum of your project”.
Making choices is hard.
Making choices with an intention in mind is much easier.
This will take place in my home (Osmanbey).
Session 6
Process your selection & get 2 prints 30x40cm
Now that you have your final photo series, here comes the time to process your images:
Contrast, colors, brightness are well-known.
What about white balance, clarity & vibrance?
You will discover another highly creative part using the modern tools.
Icing on the cake, you will witness your photos being printed out.
This will be in a printing studio.
