What to expect for a Family photo session?
Living in Istanbul or spending holidays here, your Family will be captured in the most candid & beautiful way, with unique backgrounds offered by Istanbul.
From our first contact to the delivery of your images, you will discover a unique experience of high quality service based on professionalism, trust & fun!
The preparation
Session route: Once we picked our date, I’ll ask you to give the list of all the places you love in Istanbul.
From the “classic” place like Sultanahmet to a special coffee you love, from the top of Galata tower for its stunning view over the city to a vapur to cruise on the Bosphorus, don’t limit yourself!
Then I’ll be able to suggest 1 or 2 routes for your photo session.
Outfits: I also strongly recommend to coordinate your outfits. It adds a sense of « all-together-ness ». Please avoid big patterns, logos and shinny fabrics. Prefer plain colors.
The session itself
The session lasts 2 hours. Longer sessions are possible.
During the photo session, all you have to do is to enjoy your time with your family!
I’ll interact with you & the kids to make everybody comfortable & sometimes give you some ideas of things to look at (the fishermen on the Galata Bridge for ex).
There are chances you’ll forget I’m here taking pictures :)!
For posed pictures, I’ll direct you, no worries! I’ll make sure you feel comfortable.
During summer, photo sessions begin early (around 7:30am).
Afterwards
After the session, I save your images (and I keep the memory cards untouched until my job for you is done).
Then I edit them, making the best selection of images.
Then I process your images in the most natural way possible, which means I rework the original photo to create my artistic vision. I work in colors, contrast, re-framing and custom-made black & white versions.
I do not manipulate the images (I don’t make legs longer or noses shorter for example).
When the images are ready, I create a beautiful online gallery & I send you a special message with the link to discover your images.
You can expect 40+ images for a 2-hour session.
Thanks to that gallery, you’ll be able to:
- download the images in low & high resolution
- share the link to the gallery to your family and friends
- select your favorite images
- order prints.
Then, I will send you the prints / framed images / photo albums depending on the package you chose.
